About Dupe Depot

Dupe Depot is for anyone who loves the look of designer home and holiday decor (the garlands, mirrors, sofas and throws you see in catalogs) but would rather spend a fraction of the price.

Who runs Dupe Depot

Dupe Depot is an independent site owned and run by Don Palmore. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the brands or stores we write about; brand names are used only to describe the original pieces. Spotted a wrong price, a sold-out pick or a mistake? Tell us on our contact page and we'll fix it.

How we pick

• The original first. Every post starts with the designer piece and the price on the brand's own site.
• Real matches only. A look-alike makes the cut only if it matches the original's shape, size and feel, and costs at least 35% less. If we can't find two, we don't publish the post.
• Legitimate products from real stores. No counterfeits, no copied logos, no knockoff sellers.
• Honest prices. We list the price shown on each store's page and the date we checked it. For Amazon picks we link you to the current price on Amazon instead.

About the pictures

The hero photos on our posts are licensed stock photos that show the general look, like a garland on a mantel or a throw on a sofa. They are not photos of the exact products we link to. Each piece we recommend is shown as a card with the store's own photo of that item, its price, colour where the store lists one, and a link to see it. The few stores whose photos we could not get show the post's look photo instead.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links, so we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Read our Affiliate Disclosure.
